Auto Scroll is a browser extension that automatically scrolls web pages at a user-defined speed with configurable pause intervals. Your privacy is important to us, and this extension is designed with a privacy-first approach.

Auto Scroll does not collect, store, transmit, or share any user data. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No browsing history or page content is accessed or recorded
• No cookies or tracking mechanisms are used
• No data is sent to any external server
• No analytics or telemetry of any kind is implemented

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

• activeTab — To inject the scroll script into the currently active tab when you click the extension icon
• scripting — To execute the auto-scroll content script on the active page
• Content Scripts (all URLs) — To enable the scroll functionality to work on any web page you choose to use it on

Local Storage

The only data stored locally is your theme preference (light/dark mode), saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs.
